Indiana University Division of Recreational
Sports in Bloomington, Indiana, has two university recreation
centers: the Student Recreational Sports Center (SRSC), and
the School of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation
(HPER). These strength and conditioning areas total 19,000
sq.ft. Both serve 37,000 students, as well as 1,500 faculty,
staff and public members.
The strength and conditioning rooms have over 400 pieces
of equipment, including Paramount's Advanced Performance
System and Advanced Rotary Technology stations.
Chris Arterberry, Fitness/Wellness Graduate Assistant says, "One
of our goals is to be the most progressive university program
in the country, and we believe that Paramount equipment can
help us reach that goal. The equipment is well designed,
thoroughly tested, and easy to use, all of which are highly
important to us since our members are very demanding. We're
open essentially 17 hours a day, seven days a week, on a
campus of 35,000+ students so we're busy all the time. Any
equipment we buy has to be of high quality." |
